The Shamshabad International Airport in Hyderabad received a bomb threat through a mail. The person claimed that a bomb was planted at the airport and would explode at 7 pm. Immediately, the bomb squad, dog squad, and CISF local police were alerted. They thoroughly inspected the entire airport and confirmed that there was no bomb.
Afterward, another email was received from a different address. The sender said that their child had sent the previous threatening mail while playing with the phone, and it was a mistake. They apologized for the incident.
The airport officials have filed a complaint with the local police, and an investigation is underway to find the person responsible for sending the threatening mail.
