In a disconcerting turn of events at the Chatanpally polling booth in Shadnagar, Rangareddy district, concerns about the efficiency of the electoral process and the attentiveness of officials have come to the forefront.

Bagari Balamani, a perplexed voter, found herself entangled in a confusing situation when she discovered that her vote had been cast by another individual. The source of the mix-up was the striking similarity in names, as both women shared the name Balamani. Complicating matters further, Balamani’s husband, Anjaiah, was assigned to polling booth 162, while another individual named Chandraiah, whose spouse was also named Balamani, was designated to booth 163.
