Friends and mourners gathered at vigils to pay tribute to the four people who were killed in a shooting at a Louisville bank. Details were also emerging about some of the wounded, including a rookie officer who was recently sworn in. Among those killed was 63-year-old Tommy Elliott, who had been known by former Mayor Greg Fischer for 40 years. Elliott was a young banker when he met Fischer, and they became close friends. Elliott was known for his work ethic and ability to see things in people they might not see in themselves. He was also a devoted family man survived by his wife, two daughters, and two stepdaughters. The other slain victims included Joshua Barrick, Juliana Farmer, and James Tutt. Nine others, including two police officers, were treated for injuries from the shooting.
