    Indian diaspora from all over Australia traveled to Sydney to attend a rally where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was speaking about the Australia-India relationship. The rally is expected to draw up to 20,000 people. The Indian Australian Diaspora Foundation (IADF) organized the event, which celebrates the country’s diverse Indian community. IADF was founded to help strengthen the relationship between India and Australia.

    About 170 Indian-origin people took a private chartered flight named “Modi Airways” from Melbourne to Sydney to attend the event at Olympic Park Arena. They were spotted wearing tri-colored turbans and waving Indian flags. The flight was named “Modi Airways” by the Prime Minister’s supporters.

    PM Modi arrived in Sydney from Papua New Guinea, where he held talks with James Marape, his counterpart. He also discussed ways to further augment cooperation in areas like commerce, technology, healthcare, and climate change. PM Modi is scheduled to hold talks with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese during his three-day tour of Australia.
