The time to submit nominations for the Jubilee Hills by-election has ended, with more than 150 nominations received. BJP hopeful Lankala Deepak Reddy filed his nomination on Tuesday.
A wide range of candidates, including major party members, independents, farmers affected by the Regional Ring Road (RRR), and leaders from local unemployment groups, are participating.
Candidates needed to be inside the gate by 3 pm for their nominations to be accepted. Returning Officer Sairam will start reviewing submissions tomorrow. The last day to withdraw nominations is October 24, and voting is set for November 11.
