21 IPS Officers Transferred in Telangana
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has transferred 21 IPS officers to different positions. Among them, the Police Commissioners of Warangal and Ramagundam were reassigned on Friday.
Anil Kumar, who was serving as the Director General of the Telangana Special Protection Force, has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (Personnel). This relieves senior IPS officer Mahesh M Bhagwat from his additional charge.
M Srinivasulu, who was the Commissioner of Police in Ramagundam, will now serve as the Inspector General of Police, CID. Ambar Kishor Jha, the Commissioner of Police in Warangal, has been transferred, and Sunpreet Singh, who was recently promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police, Warangal.
Chetna Mylabhutala, who was serving as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Peddapalli, has been transferred to Hyderabad as the Superintendent of Police, Women Safety Wing. Similarly, Sindhu Sarma, the Superintendent of Police in Kamareddy, has been reassigned as Superintendent of Police, Intelligence.
Potharaju Sai Chaitanya, who was the Superintendent of Police at the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau in Hyderabad, will now serve as the Commissioner of Police, Nizamabad. Meanwhile, Gaush Alam, the Superintendent of Police in Adilabad, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Police, Karimnagar.
Akhil Mahajan, previously the Superintendent of Police in Rajanna Sircilla, continues in a similar role, while Chennuri Rupesh, the Superintendent of Police in Sangareddy, has been transferred to the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau in Hyderabad.
Other transfers include Akshansh Yadav, who was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Hyderabad’s Central Zone, now posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Yadadri Bhongir, Rachakonda. Paritosh Pankaj, who was OSD in Kothagudem, has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, Sangareddy.
Gite Mahesh Babasaheb, previously OSD in Murugu, will now serve as Superintendent of Police, Rajanna Sircilla. Ankit Kumar Sahkhwar, who was waiting for a posting, has been assigned as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Warangal East.
Other officers who were awaiting postings have also been assigned roles. A. Bhaskar is now the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Mancherial, Ramagundam. K. Narasimha has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, Suryapet, while K. Shilpavalli is now the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Zone, Hyderabad.
Y. Saisekhar has been posted as Superintendent of Police, SIB, Intelligence. P. Karunakar, who was waiting for a posting, is now the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Peddapalli, Ramagundam Commissionerate. Finally, P. Ravinder has been transferred and will serve as Superintendent of Police, CID.
