Telangana is the only state in the country that provides free electricity to farmers 24 hours a day, according to Municipal and IT Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao. He, along with Home Minister Mahmood Ali and Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar, inaugurated the new district police office building in Jagitil. The building cost Rs. 38.4 crore and is located in Nukapalli village in Malyala mandal. They also distributed double bedroom houses worth Rs. 280 crore to 3,722 beneficiaries as part of the housing program’s first phase. Additionally, they inaugurated an integrated veg-non-veg market worth Rs. 4.50 crore.

Rama Rao addressed a public meeting and highlighted the electricity and water problems faced by farmers during the previous government’s tenure. He praised the current Chief Minister for investing thousands of crores to address these issues and ensure sufficient water and electricity for farmers. He also mentioned the introduction of Mission Bhagiratha, a program aimed at solving drinking water problems in the state.
