    Hyderabad Celebrates UAE National Day with Tree Planting Event

    The Telangana Forest Development Corporation and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – Hyderabad came together to celebrate the 53rd UAE National Day on Saturday. The occasion was marked by a special tree-planting event in the city.

    As part of the celebration, officials planted 53 rare plant species at the Botanical Garden in Hyderabad. This initiative highlighted the importance of preserving unique flora and strengthening ties between Telangana and the UAE.

    Arif Ali Al Tabur Al Nuaimi, the Consul General of the UAE in Hyderabad, participated in the event by planting the “Jammi Chettu,” a tree that holds significance as Telangana’s state tree and also the UAE’s national tree.

    Speaking on the occasion, Al Nuaimi shared that the Botanical Garden is already home to 2,000 types of rare plants. This effort further enriched the garden’s biodiversity while commemorating the UAE’s milestone anniversary.
