The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has sent show cause notices to 55 candidates who participated in the JE (Civil) Main Examination. The candidates are being asked to explain why they should not be permanently barred from future recruitment by the panel. This action is being taken due to a question paper leak incident.

OSSC Chairperson Abhay has stated that efforts are being made to connect the remaining 37 candidates with their applications, with the help of the Balasore police. Additional information is being requested from the police to ensure that the candidates can be linked to their applications. Abhay emphasized that the OSSC is committed to taking strong action against any candidates involved in unfair practices, including question leaks.
