The South Central Railway, Secunderabad division recently recognized and rewarded 73 employees for their outstanding performance during the year 2022-23. This event took place as part of the 68th Railway Week celebrations. These employees were honored for their exceptional services in various categories such as civil engineering, track maintenance, mechanical work, HR/personnel, environment & housekeeping, security, language proficiency, scrap disposal, operations and running room management, best maintained MRV, best grievance redressal, and overall efficiency.
In addition to these accolades, the division also received the national tourism award for Secunderabad station, which was recognized as the best tourist-friendly station. Moreover, the Hyderabad station was awarded with IGBC Green Co Ratings – Platinum for its commitment to sustainability, while the electric loco shed in Kazipet received a silver rating. These achievements highlight the division’s dedication to improving its facilities and services.
Furthermore, the division has undertaken several initiatives to enhance employee welfare. This includes promoting 2,541 employees and providing 165 compassionate grade appointments to deserving families in need.
