90-year-old undergoes successful kidney stone removal surgery

A 90-year-old woman from Jainath Mandal has successfully undergone kidney stone removal surgery at RIMS Hospital in Adilabad.

The woman, named Ankath Pintubayi, was admitted to the hospital after suffering from severe stomach pain. After conducting tests, doctors found that the pain was caused by kidney stones.

Using modern laser technology called Retrograde Intrarenal Laser Surgery, the medical team was able to remove the stones without harming her kidneys. This brought her great relief from the pain.

The hospital staff shared that the patient is now recovering well after the surgery. Health Minister Damodara Raja Narsimha praised the doctors for their skill and hard work in treating the elderly patient.
