Telangana has made significant progress since becoming a separate state, according to Minister for Tribal Welfare Satyavathi Rathod. She held a press conference in Mahabubabad on Tuesday, highlighting the state’s achievements under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Telangana has experienced economic growth, improved infrastructure, and increased job opportunities.

Rathod urged people not to trust the promises made by the Congress party. She questioned whether the Congress was fulfilling its promises in the states it governs. She also predicted that the Congress would face a similar fate as it did in the 2014 and 2018 elections. Rathod accused TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy, who was involved in a cash-for-vote scandal, of selling party tickets.

Rathod dismissed the BJP’s hopes of winning the upcoming assembly elections. She believed it would be difficult for candidates from both the Congress and the BJP to recover their deposits. Rathod praised the BRS manifesto, stating that it would benefit all sections of society in addition to existing schemes.

Other officials present at the press conference included Mahabubabad MLA Banoth Shankar Naik, MP Maloth Kavitha, ZP chairperson A Bindu, and municipal chairman Palvai Rammohan Reddy.
