Adilabad recently hosted the ‘Waste to Wonder’ exhibition at Gandhi Park, where municipal workers demonstrated their creativity. Saloni, a trainee collector, led this innovative event showcasing artistic talents.
The exhibition featured sculptures and models made from discarded items like water bottles, soft drink containers, and old vehicle tires. District Collector Rajarshi Shah attended as the chief guest and applauded the team for their inventive efforts. He highlighted the event’s role in promoting environmental protection and expressed a desire for similar exhibitions in other towns. This initiative successfully conveyed the message that waste can be reimagined beyond its usual meaning.
