The National Election Commission has announced the schedule for the Jubilee Hills bypoll. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar shared the schedule for by-elections in 8 seats across India, including Bihar.
In Telangana, voters in Jubilee Hills will head to the polls on November 11, with results announced on November 14.

- October 21: Last day to file nominations
- October 22: Nominations scrutinized
- October 24: Deadline to withdraw nominations

- November 14: Vote counting
This by-election is necessary following the passing of BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath on June 8, 2025. The main contenders will be from Congress, BRS, and BJP. BRS has chosen Maganti Gopinath’s wife, Maganti Sunita, as their candidate, while Congress and BJP have not yet named their candidates.
Jubilee Hills has a total of 3,98,982 voters. Among them, 2,07,367 are male and 1,91,590 are female.
