Kothagudem/Hyderabad: Shikha Goel, Director General of Telangana Vigilance and Enforcement, highlighted the need for ethical behavior in all aspects of life.
At the Vigilance Awareness Week event at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad, she emphasized that vigilance should be a year-round effort, not limited to a single week. She pointed out how Dr. E. Sreedharan delivered the Delhi Metro project on time and within budget through integrity, and how Dr. Verghese Kurien drove the White Revolution with transparency in the cooperative sector. Both are respected for their honesty and dedication.
Goel also noted that being honest without action is a form of negligence. She advocated for using technology to offer transparent, citizen-friendly services while reducing corruption opportunities.
