A Zomato delivery worker has alleged that a couple assaulted him in Vasavi Nagar, Secunderabad, after a food order was delayed. The incident, which falls under Karkhana police station limits, was captured on CCTV cameras.
The worker, identified as Ashish, said the delivery was late because the customers had shared an incorrect location. He said he explained the reason for the delay to the couple, but they allegedly did not listen and assaulted him.
Ashish lodged a complaint at Karkhana police station following the incident. He alleged that police registered only a minor case against the couple.
