Aaruliya Moses, the six-year-old daughter of Milton, disappeared at around 9 p.m. while playing at Villa Orchids apartment in Kaukoora. Her parents reported her missing, and police began search operations after receiving the complaint.
Police examined CCTV footage from the apartment complex. The footage reportedly showed security guard Vikram following the child. Investigators allege that he abducted Aaruliya and later called her parents, demanding a ransom of Rs. 20 lakh.
According to the complaint, Vikram feared he would be caught and strangled the girl. He allegedly tied her hands and feet, attached a stone to her waist and dumped her in a pond.
Police registered a case based on the parents’ complaint and are investigating the alleged abduction and killing. The police search operation began after Milton reported his daughter missing.
