A Rapido bike delivery executive allegedly ran off with gold jewellery worth ₹62,383 after collecting a parcel in the Jubilee Hills/Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad. The parcel was meant for delivery to Nagole. It never reached its destination.

The complainant is Dattaprasad Nallapati, an administrative manager at Vivo. He booked the parcel service through the app. The rider collected the package from a security guard at the pickup location.

The rider is named in reports as Gidimetla Murali. He allegedly took an extra ₹100 for fuel through PhonePe. He then blocked the complainant’s number. The complainant also said that customer care did not respond to his attempts to get help.
