The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Hyderabad will hold a special drive, the Passport Mela, on Saturday, 21 November 2026. The office said it is organising the drive “in view of the increasing demand for passport services and waiting period for appointments.” The notice is dated 02 November 2026.
Around 4000 appointments will be made available during the Passport Mela. They cover Normal passport, Tatkaal Passport and Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) services. The appointments will be released on 3 November 2026.
The appointments are for applicants across all Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) and POPSKs under the jurisdiction of RPO Hyderabad. The notice, signed by Regional Passport Officer Madhav R Sulphule, requests electronic and print media to widely share the information with the public to ensure maximum awareness and optimum use of the service. It states that RPO Hyderabad “remains committed to providing efficient, transparent and citizen-centric passport services and continuously strives to enhance applicant convenience.”
