The Cyberabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory to all IT companies and organisations operating in the Cyberabad area, citing intermittent weather and moderate to heavy rainfall forecast from 03.11.2026 to 05.11.2026. The advisory (No: 303/T4/Traffic Admin/Cyb/2026) is dated 03.11.2026. It was issued by the office of the Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, under the Telangana State Police Department.
The advisory lists the safety and well-being of employees, business continuity, the possibility of severe traffic congestion and the need for uninterrupted movement of emergency services as its key considerations. It requests companies to consider staggered early logout starting from 2 PM between 03.11.2026 and 05.11.2026. The stated aims are to minimise travel-related risks, reduce pressure on road infrastructure and support the smooth functioning of essential services during adverse weather.
Because rain is expected from the afternoon to late evening hours, the advisory asks that staggered logouts be completed early, preferably by 4 PM. It also advises Work From Home (WFH) as an alternative for the three days. The advisory is worded as a request, asking organisations to “consider” these steps.
Organisations are also requested to inform the traffic police by email at [email protected] about their location and the early logout timings they plan to follow, so that adequate traffic management can be put in place. The advisory closes with the words: “We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.”
