The group wants the incompetent DEO to be fired for not taking action against private schools. They criticized the state government for not addressing education issues and threatened to besiege the secretariat if their demands are not met.
The group’s demands include strict action against private school owners who charge high fees illegally and immediate implementation of a Fee Control Act to regulate fees.
They also demand recognition of schools based on adherence to norms, addressing teacher shortages in government schools, investigating irregularities in the mid-day meal program, appointing support staff, and reserving seats for poor students in private schools.
The protesters emphasized the need for government action to improve education standards and access for all students.
