Agitation of Gram Panchayat employees and workers in Hyderabad comes to an end

Employees and workers of the Gram Panchayats in Hyderabad have ended their 34-day long protest and will return to work on Wednesday. The Telangana Employees and Workers Gram Panchayat Joint Action Committee (JAC) met with Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao to discuss their issues. The Minister assured them that all problems would be addressed gradually and that he would bring financial matters to the attention of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for prompt resolution.

As a result of the Minister’s assurance, the JAC leaders have decided to end their protest and resume their duties starting from Wednesday.
