Hyderabad: On Tuesday, the AICC approved appointing observers under the ‘Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan’ for Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. These observers will select the presidents for the District Congress Committees (DCCs).
Party insiders shared that former Chief Ministers, members of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), former Union Ministers, and past Speakers are in charge of appointing DCC leaders in Telangana. The AICC general secretary officially announced 22 names on Tuesday.
