The BJP leaders in Aiza, led by Aiza town BJP President Kampati Bhagat Reddy and Jogulamba Gadwal district BJP President S Ramachandra Reddy, recently visited the Aiza New Bus Stand. They were concerned about the poor facilities at the bus stand, even though it generates a lot of revenue every month.

Ramachandra Reddy highlighted that the Aiza Bus Stand is the second largest in Jogulamba Gadwal district after the Gadwal Bus Stand. It has plenty of space and around 80 shops that pay rent. However, despite collecting a large amount of money, the authorities have not provided basic facilities for passengers.

Passengers traveling to Kurnool and Raichur face difficulties due to the lack of waiting areas, proper seating, and drinking water. There are also no rest halls for travelers who miss their buses at night. The BJP leaders have demanded the construction of proper rest facilities for passengers.

Reddy further suggested setting up a new RTC bus depot in Aiza. This would improve connectivity to several places, including Mantaralayam, Emmiganur, Adoni, Ballari, Kurnool, Srisailam, and Raichur. It would also benefit nearby mandals such as Gattu, Vaddepalli, Rajoli, Itikyala, and Maldakal.

He also pointed out that the Aiza Bus Stand has been in use for nearly 50 years but has never been modernized. Since it is an important interstate transportation hub connecting Telangana with Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, he stressed the need for urgent improvements.
