    Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu surprised everyone by announcing his departure from the YSRCP party less than 10 days after joining. Rayudu shared this news on platform ‘X’ and also mentioned that he will be taking a break from politics for some time. He tweeted, “I have decided to quit the YSRCP Party and stay out of politics for a little while. Further action will be conveyed in due course of time. Thank You.”

    Ambati Rayudu had joined YSRCP on December 28, 2023, in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy, and Rajampeta Lok Sabha member P Mithun Reddy. Rayudu is a well-known cricketer who has represented the Indian cricket team in international tournaments and has also played in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

    Recently, Rayudu has been engaging with the public through various programs and was even the brand ambassador for Andhra Pradesh Government’s ‘Aadudam Andhra’ program.
