In Hyderabad, a shocking incident occurred where 15 people were rushed to nearby hospitals due to an ammonia gas leak. The incident happened in the Fathenagar area, under the Sanathnagar police station’s jurisdiction.

Sources state that two ammonia gas cylinders, which had been unused for a long time, were the cause of the leak. A person noticed these cylinders and tried to remove the valves using a rod. Unfortunately, this caused the gas to leak out, releasing a significant amount of ammonia all at once.

After the incident, the person responsible fled the scene. The leaked ammonia gas spread around the area, creating a dangerous cloud that reached heights of 10 to 12 meters. As a result, ten laborers from Bihar, who were working nearby, experienced breathing difficulties and vomiting due to exposure to the gas. Additionally, five local residents in a nearby settlement also suffered from vomiting and eye irritation.
