Analyst Predicts Top Altcoin for 3x Gains This Weekend

As the weekend nears, traders are curious about what the crypto market will do next. Analyst Evan Aldo recently shared his insights on The Paul Barron Network, suggesting that the market could either move sideways or experience a slight pump in the coming days. While Aldo leans towards a pump, he also acknowledges the possibility of sideways movement.

For newcomers to the crypto space, Aldo recommends investing in **Ethereum (ETH)** if they were to start fresh today. He believes Ethereum is looking strong against Bitcoin and has likely reached a bottom, giving it a 90% chance of having bottomed against Bitcoin. Additionally, Ethereum seems to have made a local low against the total altcoin market (Total 3), which includes all coins apart from Bitcoin and Ethereum. Aldo predicts that Ethereum will likely outperform smaller altcoins in the coming months.

While some forecasts predict long-term price targets for Ethereum ranging from $6,000 to $7,400, there are even bolder suggestions that it could climb as high as $10,000 to $11,000 with enough momentum. However, analysts like Aldo are currently eyeing the next major target of $3,200 as the first significant milestone. Breaking this level could open the door for more substantial moves by the end of 2025.

Aldo highlighted a bullish signal of a rare trigger wave forming on the three-week chart, similar to patterns seen before major rallies in the past, such as in 2020. While a massive 10x move is unlikely this time, a 2x or 3x gain could still be possible in the near future.

Looking ahead, Aldo anticipates a full-fledged altcoin season once the Federal Reserve begins cutting interest rates. During this transition phase, he views Ethereum as a necessary asset to hold, with the potential for smaller coins to surge and outperform Ethereum in the future.
