In other news, there has been a cabinet reshuffle. Arjun Ram Meghwal is now the new Minister of Law and Justice, while Kiren Rijiju has been moved to Earth Sciences. This change was approved by President Droupadi Murmu on the advice of PM Modi.
Previously, Rijiju was in charge of the Union Ministry of Law and Justice, but now he has been assigned to the Ministry of Earth Sciences. Meghwal has been given additional responsibilities as Minister of State in the Ministry of Law and Justice.
