Hyderabad: A recruitment rally for the Army is set to take place at Joginder Singh Stadium in Secunderabad from July 31 to September 14. This event, organized under the Unit Headquarters Quota, will select candidates for roles like Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Clerk/SKT (only for AOC ward), Agniveer Tradesmen for various jobs, and Outstanding Sportsmen in the open category.
Candidates in the Outstanding Sportsmen category must arrive for trials at the stadium by 6 AM on July 31. They need to have competed at a national or international level in sports such as athletics, swimming, diving, or weightlifting, and should bring their certificates.
Applicants must be between 17 years and six months to 21 years old. Those applying for Agniveer General Duty need to have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 45% overall and 33% in each subject. Having a Light Motor Vehicle Driving Licence is an advantage for driver roles.
For Agniveer Clerk/SKT, candidates should have completed the 10+2 Intermediate exam with at least 60% overall, and 50% in each subject, including in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping.
Agniveer Tradesmen at the 10th Std level need to have passed Class 10, and those at the 8th Std level should have passed Class 8.
