Hyderabad – A special workshop called “Creative Strokes” brought artistic energy to the female students of Sphoorthy Engineering College. Organized under the college’s SheInspires initiative, the five-day event gave women a chance to explore their creativity and learn new skills.
The workshop focused on hands-on art training. Participants tried their hand at fabric painting, tie and dye, clay jewelry making, canvas painting, and the intricate Pichwai art tradition. All sessions used Fevicryl materials, including acrylics, 3D liners, metallic paints, and moulding clay, giving the artwork a professional finish.
Ms. Chinni Leela Sravanthi, an experienced art trainer, led the sessions. Her step-by-step guidance and encouraging approach helped students gain confidence and bring their ideas to life through art.
The event received strong support from college leaders. Secretary Shri S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Principal Dr. Giridhar Akkula praised Dr. Gayathri, mentor of the Women’s Chapter, and her team for organizing the initiative. They highlighted how such creative programs help students grow beyond academics and build entrepreneurial thinking.
With vibrant colors, innovative designs, and a strong spirit of learning, “Creative Strokes” became more than a workshop—it turned into a platform for empowerment and self-expression.
