Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has asked senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar to attend a questioning session about the Formula E Race case. He must appear at 11:30 am on Thursday. Kumar was previously asked to come on July 1, but he was abroad for a month, so a new notice was issued.
Earlier, Kumar informed officials that he transferred funds following instructions from then Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao. Now, he must go to the ACB office in Banjara Hills on Thursday.
The ACB’s FIR lists BRS working president KT Rama Rao as the main suspect, accusing him of misconduct in the race’s organization. Arvind Kumar and HMDA Chief Engineer BLN Reddy also face allegations. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had earlier called KT Rama Rao and the officer for inquiries related to this case.
