The Bharat Rashtra Samithi party leaders in Hyderabad held an agitation program demanding solutions for the problems faced by auto drivers. Former minister and MLA Harish Rao spoke at the event, urging the government to support auto drivers. He requested a support fund of Rs 10,000 for auto drivers and Rs 10 lakh compensation for the families of deceased drivers. The BRS leaders showed their support by displaying placards. They then headed to the Assembly in autos.
However, when the BRS leaders tried to enter the Assembly with the placards, they were stopped by the police. An argument ensued between the BRS leaders and the police. The security personnel initially denied entry to the BRS MLCs wearing black scarves, but eventually allowed them after some argument.
