The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced traffic diversions near PVNR Expressway Pillar No. 37 towards Mehdipatnam. The restrictions are needed for CC road-laying work, which will continue from October 19 to October 22, 2026. Police have issued a traffic advisory for motorists using the corridor.
Vehicles travelling from Attapur to Nampally must take the Pillar 92 U-turn, then move via 100 Ft Road and Purana Pool to reach Jummerath Bazar. Commuters going from Shaikpet to Attapur must travel via Nanal Nagar, Balika Bhavan Junction and Lakshmi Nagar. They will then take the Pillar 59 U-turn and join Attapur Road.
Traffic from Shaikpet heading to Langer House or Sun City will use the KFC U-turn and then Shaikpet Nala. From there, vehicles will pass through Banjari Darwaza, Makkai Darwaza and Ramdevguda, and reach Tippu Khan Junction.
Vehicles travelling from Lakdi-ka-Pul to Attapur via Retibowli will follow a separate route. They must go through Azizia Mosque, Meraj Cafe Junction, Yadav Bhavan and Gudimalkapur. After that, they will reach Pillar 68 and join Attapur Road.
Heavy congestion has been reported in the Nanal Nagar and Mehdipatnam areas, with traffic continuing until around 3 am. Motorists seeking assistance can call the traffic helpline at 9010203626. The advisory was issued through the official @HYDTP handle.
