Shankha Brata Bagchi is now the Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner. He started his new role on Monday and promised to maintain a corruption-free police system. Bagchi thanked Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for giving him the chance to be the Police Commissioner in Vizag.
Bagchi shared a personal story about his connection to Visakhapatnam. He said that after getting married, he originally wanted to go to Switzerland for his honeymoon. However, due to financial reasons, he chose Vizag instead. He promised his wife a place that had both hill stations and a sea view.
