Balakrishna feels fortunate to be born as NTR’s son

The family of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, founder of Telugu Desam Party and former chief minister, paid tribute to him at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad on his birth centenary. His son, TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, grandson junior NTR, Nandamuri Ramakrishna, actor Rajendra Prasad, and others were present. Balakrishna spoke to the media and said that NTR founded TDP to help the Telugu people, and he introduced many welfare schemes like the Rs 2 per kg rice scheme and women’s right to property. Rajendra Prasad said that NTR is his guru and god, and he would have performed pada puja for him with golden leaves if he was alive today.
