Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of promoting Chinese ideas. He claimed that Rahul Gandhi is silent about incidents in Bangladesh because of orders from China.
Sanjay also accused the Nehru family of hiding the contributions of significant figures in India’s history to gain political advantage. He mentioned that they are also covering up the ideology of B. R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution.
On Monday, Bandi Sanjay participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Yatra, an event organized to honor the leaders who sacrificed their lives during India’s struggle for independence. The Yatra aims to spread the benefits of independence to everyone.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Yatra, organized by the Bharatiya Yuva Morcha, saw a large turnout of youths and students. They marched from Telangana Chowk to Tower Circle, carrying the Indian national flag to honor the martyrs who fought for the country.
Bandi Sanjay stated that the Yatra is being held as per Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call and is organized by the BJYM. The event includes activities like hoisting the national flag at homes, organizing seminars, and cleaning and decorating the statues of national heroes.
Criticizing Rahul Gandhi further, Sanjay accused him of using language influenced by his uncle, Sam Pitroda. He questioned why Rahul Gandhi remained silent on the violence in Bangladesh.
Sanjay also discussed the Waqf Board Bill, mentioning that it had been amended during the tenures of former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, P. V. Narasimha Rao, and Manmohan Singh. He questioned why it would be wrong for Prime Minister Modi to introduce an amendment to correct past mistakes. He accused Congress of trying to block the Waqf Board Amendment Bill under the pretext of religion.
