Hyderabad: The BRS women’s wing is set to host the Bathukamma Festival, showcasing Telangana culture at People’s Plaza on Necklace Road on September 24.
The event will kick off at 4 PM and wrap up by 8 PM. The BRS leadership hopes that many women and party supporters from across Hyderabad will attend. A planning meeting took place at Telangana Bhavan on Monday, led by BRS Working President KT Rama Rao. Notable attendees included former ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Padmarao Goud, city MLAs, party corporators, and senior leaders.
KTR instructed leaders to ensure thorough preparations for the event’s success. He emphasized attracting a large turnout of women at People’s Plaza and ensuring flawless organization. Party leaders reminisced about the past decade of official Bathukamma celebrations under the BRS government. They noted the party’s commitment to promoting Telangana culture through these events over the past two years.
KTR encouraged senior leaders and corporators to actively engage in the women-led Bathukamma celebrations, aiming for a successful outcome.
