Sagar Defence Engineering Private Limited has announced a strategic investment in EndureAir Systems Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant step towards strengthening India’s indigenous aerial robotics capabilities. The investment was disclosed on February 3, 2026, as part of efforts to revolutionise the country’s defence landscape through autonomous and unmanned systems.

EndureAir Systems, an aerospace company born out of IIT Kanpur, specializes in developing indigenous aerial robotics for defence and advanced applications. The company was founded by Dr Abhishek, Rama Krishna, and Chirag Jain, who transformed cutting-edge research into practical, mission-ready aerial robotics systems designed for Indian operational ecosystems.

Sagar Defence Engineering was founded by Capt Nikunj Parashar, Mridul Babbar, Lakshay Dang, Ankit Kumar, and Saurabh Patil with the vision of transforming India’s defence sector through autonomous and unmanned technologies. Capt Nikunj Parashar, Founder of Sagar Defence Engineering, emphasized the significance of the partnership. “This investment is more than capital; it reflects our belief in a principle we hold deeply: built on courage, perseverance, and innovation, it epitomises this spirit,” he stated.

Dr Abhishek from EndureAir Systems described the collaboration as more than a business partnership. “The investment is beyond a business partnership, it’s a technological bridge to combine forces among the business and thought leaders from Sagar Defence Engineering with the technology and R&D talent pool of EndureAir. I foresee this partnership spiralling into something great for the Indian Defence Industry,” he mentioned.
