Bathukamma receives greetings from Governor Tamilisai and CM KCR

Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao have wished women a happy Bathukamma festival, which starts on Saturday. The Governor described Bathukamma as a special festival that celebrates life and is associated with mother nature. She also mentioned that the flowers used to make the idols of Bathukamma have medicinal properties that can cleanse water bodies. KCR stated that Bathukamma is a symbol of Telangana’s self-respect and unique culture. He highlighted the government’s efforts to promote women empowerment through various schemes. Telangana will be filled with joy as women celebrate the festival for nine days.
