    The Lord Sita Rama Bramotsavalu festival is currently underway at the Lord Rama temple in Bhadrachalam. The festival began on March 22 and will end on April 5. As part of the Bramotsavalu, several main events have taken place, including Anukurapana, DwajapataLekhanam, and Garudhadivanam, which were held by the priests in a grand manner. The next main event, the celestial wedding and Pattabhishekm and Chakrasnanam, will take place on April 4-5.

    The celestial wedding will be conducted according to the PancharathragamaSastram, under the guidance of KEStala Sai, who is the Stanacharulu (main priest) at the temple. Chief priests PodichetiSitaramacharyulu, Amaravadhi Vijaya Raghavan, AmaravadhiChennaKrishnamacharulu, and Amaravadhi Murali Krishnamacharyulu will also play an active role in the celestial wedding programme. MukyaArchakaPodichetiSeetharamanjuCharyulu, Amaravadhi Vijaya Raghavan as Acharya, and AmaravadhiCheenaKrishnamacharulu as Brahma and Amaravadhi Murali Krishnamacharylu as Ruthvik (Mantra Patanam) will also have key roles in the programme.

    During the celestial wedding, the main Acharya and Brahma will make arrangements for the programme while other priests in the temple will act as Ruthiviks. The celestial wedding will take place at Mithila Stadium near the temple in the presence of thousands of devotees on Thursday. The Acharyalu and Brahmas will guide the priests in conducting the Kalyanam, while the Ruthivik will support them. The entire programme is conducted under the Pancharatragamanam with NavahinakaDeeksha as per Vaishnava traditions, according to the priests.
