Gadwal: In Vaddepalli Mandal, near Konkala village, a bridge was recently built over the Rajoli stream as part of the Bharatmala project. Unfortunately, the bridge was constructed too small, causing water to accumulate instead of flowing freely during the heavy rains last week.

This accumulation of water has led to significant damage to crops, affecting around 50 acres of farmland owned by local farmers.

The farmers reported this issue to former MLA Dr. S.A. Sampath Kumar. He quickly informed the District Collector by phone about the problem.

Afterward, the affected farmers went to the Collector’s office and submitted a petition to the Additional Collector. The officials promised to call the Bharatmala authorities and take the necessary steps to prevent such issues in the future.
