    State Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced plans to build a 62.5 megawatt thermal power plant in Ramagundam. The proposal was supported by Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, and other Congress representatives from Karimnagar district.

    The representatives requested the Energy Minister to speed up the process of setting up the power plant in Ramagundam. In response, Bhatti assured that the State government would fulfill its promise to build the power plant in the region soon. He acknowledged that this has been a long-standing demand of the people and promised to take necessary steps to make it a reality.
