    Bhootpur Municipality Wins Best Municipality Award and Staff Recognized for Achievement

    Devarkadra MLA Ala Venkateshwar Reddy and Bhootpur MPP Dr Kadire Shekhar Reddy recently attended the Bhootpur Municipality Budget meeting, where they praised the efforts of all public representatives and staff members for winning the Best Municipality Award announced by the Central government. The Devarkadra MLA reiterated that the State government is committed to providing necessary funds for all development works in municipal areas, both urban and rural. The MLA expressed pride that 19 out of 20 awards announced by the Center for municipalities came to the State of Telangana, and both Bhootpur and Kotta Kota Municipalities of Devarkadra constituency received the best municipality awards. The Municipal Chairman, Councilors, Commissioner, and staff members were congratulated and hailed for their efforts to make Bhootpur Municipality one of the best municipalities in the State. With the cooperation of Chief Minister KCR, Minister of Municipal Affairs KTR, and district Ministers, development works are being carried out at a rapid pace in Bhootpur Municipality, with various development works already underway at a cost of Rs 32 crore. The municipality has constructed 288 double bedroom houses and handed them over to people who were previously homeless. Additionally, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of a stadium at a cost of Rs 3 crore in the municipal area. The MLA also highlighted that all tribal hamlets and Thandas are provided with BT roads in the municipality. Soon, Bhootpur Municipality will have an integrated veg and non-veg market, and a foundation stone has already been laid for the same.
