Pulla Karunakar has taken over as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district. He is originally from Uppal village in Kamalapur mandal and started his career in the police force in 2010. Before this, he worked as a DSP in Proddatur in YSR Kadapa district and also served in Shadnagar and Jagtial. He was previously the Additional DCP (Traffic) in Hyderabad and the East Zone DCP in Warangal.
Karunakar wants people and his subordinates to feel comfortable coming to him with any complaints or grievances. He emphasized that there is no need to go through middlemen, as the police department is committed to serving the community.
