    Fire Breaks Out Near Malakpet Metro Station

    A fire broke out near Malakpet metro station in Hyderabad on Friday, causing panic among commuters. The incident started when one bike caught fire, which then spread to nearby parked bikes, producing thick smoke that alarmed people in the area.

    At least five bikes were completely destroyed in the fire. Motorists passing by noticed the flames and quickly informed the police and fire department. Firefighters arrived at the scene promptly and managed to extinguish the fire. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but the vehicles were heavily damaged.

    The fire led to significant traffic disruptions in the Chaderghat, Malakpet, and Moosarambagh areas. Police are currently investigating the cause of the fire. Officials are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area to gather more information.

    Explosion Reported in Hayathnagar

    In a separate incident, an explosion occurred near the Hayathnagar police station while garbage was being burned in the area. An unidentified object in the trash exploded, leaving a sweeper named Shantamma seriously injured.

    The police were immediately informed and rushed Shantamma to the hospital, where she is now receiving treatment. Authorities have launched an internal inquiry to determine the cause of the explosion and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
