As the parliamentary elections approach, the political atmosphere in Karimnagar is getting intense. The BJP and BRS parties have started campaigning in the Karimnagar Parliament segment after the Assembly elections. Boinapalli Vinod Kumar from BRS and Bandi Sanjay Kumar from BJP have entered the campaign and completed two rounds in their constituencies. Vinod Kumar criticized Bandi for not bringing funds from the Centre, so the BJP has started a new campaign about the Central funds in the villages.
The BJP has launched a poster campaign to inform the public about the funds released by the Centre for development works in the Karimnagar Parliament constituency. Bandi, the MP of Karimnagar, has also started a six-day long Prajahitha Yatra to create momentum. They have also started a program to distribute Ayodhya Ram Mandir portraits door-to-door.
On the other hand, Vinod Kumar from BRS is also touring extensively and criticizing Bandi. Bandi is preparing to give a strong response to his critics through his yatra. The BJP ranks are currently working on incorporating village-wise details through wall writing in Vemulawada and Sircilla Assembly constituencies.
Bandi claims that over Rs 12,000 crore have been spent by the Centre for the development of Karimnagar parliamentary constituency. They have also brought Rs 5,21,747 crore for road construction and expansion. Bandi further states that Rs 4,877 crore have been used for the expansion of national highways and Rs 120 crore for road construction in villages under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana. Bandi proudly declares that no previous leader has brought funds of this magnitude to the constituency in one term.
The political scene in Karimnagar is heating up as the elections draw near. Both parties are actively campaigning and trying to win over the public by highlighting their achievements and criticizing their opponents.
