BJLP leader Maheshwar Reddy and other MLAs from the party met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Secretariat in Hyderabad to discuss farmers’ issues. They submitted a petition asking for faster grain purchase by the government.

The members emphasized that every grain should be bought immediately, even if it is stained. They also requested a bonus for farmers and the waiving of their loans as promised.

During the meeting, the CM was informed that receipts were not being given to farmers at purchase centers. In response, he called officials and issued orders to address the issue, as delays in grain purchase were causing losses for farmers.
