    In Gadwal, District BJP president Rana Chandra Reddy has requested that government hostel complexes be provided for rural students in Ayija town and Ayija mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district. Reddy handed over a petition to District Collector BM Santosh regarding this issue.

    Ayija town has several educational institutions, including private B.Ed colleges, degree colleges, ITI colleges, and junior colleges. Around 2,000 students come to Ayija town for higher education.

    Many female students travel from distant places to Ayija town for various courses. The existing housing complex used as hostels for these students due to online counseling seat allotments. A resolution was passed in the Mandal Parishad Assembly meeting to address this issue.

    Reddy proposed separate hostel complexes for boys and girls as well as government accommodation for intermediate and degree students to promote higher education.

    During the petition presentation, Assembly Convener Ramanjaneyulu, District BJYM President Mirza puram Venkateswara Reddy, OBC Morcha President Deva Das, and other district leaders were present. They represented the people of Ayija Town and Mandal in requesting government hostel complexes for rural students.
