Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP is set to organize a series of Tiranga Yatras across the state to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor and honor the courage of Indian soldiers.
A planning meeting was recently held where a special committee was formed to oversee the event. The committee includes Kasam Venkateswarlu, the party’s State General Secretary, along with S Prakash Reddy, Kolli Madhavi, senior leader N Gautam Rao, and party spokesperson Solanki Srinivas.
Kasam Venkateswarlu announced that the main event will begin at 5 PM on May 17 at the Ambedkar Statue on Tank Bund, Hyderabad. This program is being organized in partnership with the Citizens Forum for National Security.
The purpose of the Tiranga Yatra is to pay tribute to the soldiers who gave their lives during Operation Sindoor, and to recognize the dedication of all Indian armed forces personnel.
The yatras will be held in district headquarters on May 18, 19, and 20, and will continue in municipalities and assembly constituencies from May 21 to 23.
Venkateswarlu encouraged people from all parts of Telangana to take part in the march. He said it’s a chance to salute the bravery of Indian soldiers, show support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and pledge to fight against terrorism with unity and determination.
