Boora Narsaiah Criticizes Congress Campaign Against BJP and BC Quota

In Hyderabad, BJP senior leader Dr Boora Narsaiah Goud criticized the Congress for their campaign against the saffron party and BC reservations, comparing it to historical invaders like Ghajni and Ghori. He accused Trinamul Congress chief Mamata Banerjee of backstabbing Hindus and BCs by providing religion-based reservations in West Bengal, which he believes is a ploy to create vote banks and benefit illegal Rohingya immigrants.

Dr Goud welcomed the recent verdict by the WB High Court that struck down OBC status given to sub-castes among Muslims. He emphasized Dr BR Ambedkar’s vision of uplifting weaker sections regardless of religion and accused Mamata of forcing Hindus to convert for job opportunities through her policies. He stated that those who do not abide by the HC verdict on religion-based reservations should not remain in power.

The BJP leader criticized the Congress for not fulfilling their promise of conducting a caste census and providing 42% quota for BCs in Telangana. He condemned CM A Revanth Reddy for calling local body elections without finalizing BC reservations. Dr Goud threatened to organize a protest for BC reservations similar to a million march if the government does not implement the promised quota before the elections.

He expressed confidence in BJP winning a majority of LS seats in West Bengal, leading to significant political changes in the state. Dr Goud demanded an annual allocation of Rs 20 crore for BC welfare from the State government.
